Oklahoma State University

The Memory and Cognitive Aging Lab at Oklahoma State University is dedicated to investigating memory processes and how they change as we age. The primary focus of our work is on prospective memory, which refers to how we remember to do things in the future. For example, if you pour the last of the milk in your coffee in the morning and form the intention to get more on the way home from work, how is it that you will remember to stop at the store? You won’t go about your day reminding yourself to get milk, will you? Will it pop into mind on your drive home? These are the simple, but important to daily life, questions we are asking and answering in the lab.
